US Congresswoman Calls for Ending UAE Proxy War in Sudan

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal , member of the House Judiciary Committee, she serves as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement has stressed that it was high time the US administration takes action to end the war of proxy led by the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces in the country.
She stressed that “the United States has the power to end this proxy war in Sudan, and must act to do so”. She noted in her statement released by her official website account.
It is to be noted that the united states media and the congress foreign relations committee has in many interventions pointed out to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the force behind the RSF militias that committed varied crimes tantamount to ethnic cleansing, genocide and crimes against humanity. The US congress foreign relations committee which last week introduced a draft resolution to naming the RSF terrorist organizations, has in earlier occasions called on the us administration to refrain from selling arms to the UAE as these arms end up in the hands the militias that the UN said are involved in genocidal atrocities in Sudan in general and in Darfur and north Darfur capital, el Fasher in particular.
The hinted the RSF is leading a proxy war on behalf of the UAE
The American Congress woman who serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she serves on the Subcommittee on Africa and the Subcommittee on South and Central Asia, pointed out in news notes on Friday that during the meeting where congress subcommittee proposed considering to name the militia terrorist organization, that she stressed in her intervention about the dire humanitarian situation in Sudan.
She said the Sudanese people are caught in the crossfire of two warring parties where 400,000 civilians have been killed, 14 million people displaced, and the country is experiencing a catastrophic level of hunger.
